Manson was denied parole for the 11th time since 1978. He didn’t attend the proceeding nor send someone to represent him. He told a prison counselor he won’t participate because he is a prisoner of the political system. He was denied parole for at least five years. This is the maximum allowed by law. He will not be up for release until 2012.
