Patrick Knight was convicted of murdering his two next door neighbors in 1991. He was sentenced to death by lethal injection. He has gone through all his appeals and he will be executed in late June. Knight has been telling jokes on web sites and soliciting jokes through the mail. He wants his humor to raise the spirits of other inmates. He wasn’t trying to disrespect anyone. He knows what he as done and doesn’t argue with. Knight just wants to go out laughing instead of all gloomy.
