Massachusetts expands discrimination law.
March 3rd, 2007 by The Law
In Boston a female was picked on at work because of her height. She was only 4 feet and a half. She would be picked up and flung on co-workers shoulders and patted on the head. Massachusetts will be the second state to pass discrimination laws based on height or weight. Places of employment make comments on peoples height and weight that they would never say about someones race or gender. The district of Columbia, San Francisco, and Santa Cruz California already prohibit discrimination on height and weight.
