This is from USA Network’s Burn Notice

Today I have to fire Michael Weston. Weston is one of our best CIA agents in our unit. He has lately been out of control. Weston was caught being inappropriate with a female whom he was supposed to be investigating undercover. At first Weston was doing a wonderful job he is a good-looking man. He would flirt with her and make her laugh. He was becoming close with her and gaining her trust. The female who’s name was Victoria was head of a huge drug ring and we needed to find out where she was getting her drugs from, and how they were being transported. This was a huge case for Weston. He got to caught up in the moment, and he let her get to him. They became intimate with each other and that is strictly forbidden.

Weston was wired so we heard anything and everything. After I heard the tape of this specific incident. I had to let him go. Being head of our CIA department it was my job to dismiss him. I called Weston into my office, I didn’t want to do it, but it had to be done. I said, “Michael, we know what you did with Victoria. Remember you had a wire on” he just gave me this look like I was out of my mind. I said, “This is strictly against our rules and you now this. Why would just go up and loose site of what your job was, you are so much better than that Michael.” He stood up and started screaming profanities at me. He was out of control, he was throwing things and kicking things and becoming angrier. Finally I had to call a few agents in to restrain him. He was one of the best, but rules are rules and he needed to obey them just like everyone else.

For the actual story and the real reason he got fired and how can be seen here.
