Viacom files suit agains YouTube

Viacom who owns MTV, VH1 and Comedy Central filed a one billion dollar copyright lawsuit agains the site, and corporate owner of Google. The tensions between Viacom and YouTube are one of the biggest confrontation to date between large media companies and huge online sites.
Viacom requested YouTube to remove over 100,000 clips from the site because they were unauthorized. YouTube isn’t taking down any clips from their site and thinks that there is not copyrights being violated.
