On April 16 a student at Virginia Tech killed 30 students then himself. Could the school have prevented this from happening? I believe they could have. They knew that the student was a danger to himself and possibly others. Students heard gunshots but no one checked into this. They should have investigated this. They need to have more security in dorm rooms and on campus through out the class room building. Most universities have little security. I have yet to see security increase in universities. I think high schools have more security than colleges.
