Wal-Mart Greeters.
March 5th, 2007 by The Law
When you go to Wal-Mart you always see a greeter. They typically check receipts when customers are leaving the store, or they greet you when entering and offer you a cart. Well one man that was a greeter didn’t know that they were not allowed to confront shop lifters. One day Mr. Grimes was working at his local Wal-Mart and noticed a shop lifter and when he was leaving the store confronted him. He ended up injuring himself when doing so. Wal-Mart terminated him because of this. Grimes took them to court and of course one. He says it wasn’t specified to him that you could not do this. When someone tries to do what they think is the right thing do they always get punished these days?
